Cubic Stone
Cubic stone enjoys high consumption characteristics and corresponds to architectural standards. It is used for road and pavement construction and also enjoys wide application in landscape designing. Cubic stone is truly considered to be highly durable material.
 
The range of products corresponds to GOST 23668-79 and confirmed by relevant test certificate. Based on sanitary-and-epidemiologic examination the goods are considered to correspond to 1 radiology grade. We ship the goods both by bulk or packed in big-bags and deliver them by railroad or trucks.
Curbstone and border stone of different sizes.
«Akam» offers different sizes of curbstones made of different Ukrainian granites such as Boltyshs’ke, Kapustins’ke, Novodanilovs’ke and Kornino deposits.
Curbstones are widely applied in city construction for outlining roads from lawns, pavements and sidewalks. Granite curbstones used in road construction have outstanding technical characteristics, which in its turn forms constant and stable demand. Granite is extremely resistant to mechanical and chemical exposure. It also requires minimal care and comparing to concrete curbstones prevails in terms of lifetime. Granite starts to expose to natural demolition only in 200 years term.
Granite curbstones are produced by sawing, splitting and cutting granite formations. Depending on the material’s processing the curbstone can have different appearance and get split, sawn, honed surface finishing. One of the popular finishing is flaming (thermal exposure). Under a special flaming torch the material’s upper layer starts to spall of and reveals rough surface required for curbstones.
